If you're a founder like me, then it's more than likely you've thought of most of the ad platforms available to you, however Snapchat can sometimes be one that you may not consider depending on your business but with our Snapchat free ad credit offer this could change things.
Put simply, we've teamed up with the team over at Snapchat to give you a sign up offer of $375 of free ad credit if you spend $350 or $50 when you spend $75.
This is a great way for founders to test out the platform for running ads for your business and you may be surprised at the results, from our experience it outperformed other social networks which we'd have put out money on wouldn't be the case!
There is never going to be a definate answer to this but essentially any founder, marketer or company that is looking to increase sales, leads or awareness especially when it comes to Gen Z and Millennials. We know some of the founders on FounderPass have used this offer and got impressive ROI on a platform they hadn't considered previous to seeing this deal.
Does this mean it's convert and give you a positive ROI, I can't promise, but it's certainly something that is worth exploring especially if you're already running successful ad campaigns on other platforms.
I'd say if you are running a company that does target either of these two groups then you'd be silly not to at least look into this platform and if it does look like it could be worth a punt, then try running some creative and seeing the results.
Let’s be honest, most founders think of Google or Meta as a first port of call when it comes to ads, but businesses are increasingly turning to the likes of Snapchat which isn't just about filters! It’s become one of the most powerful (and also underused) ad platforms for businesses of all shapes and sizes.
Whether you running an eCommerce brand, SaaS tool, service provider or B2B startup looking to scale, it could be worth you trying Snapchat to get in front of a new, high-intent audiences in a format they actually enjoy.
Founders seem to love this platform because:
If this social platform sounds like something you want to explore, then you can use our offer that gives you either:
Spend $350 and get $375 in free ad credit
or
Spent $75 and get $50 in ad credit
This isn’t just a small bonus it’s a smart way to learn what resonates with your audience and start generating results without risking a big upfront budget.
We’ve used Snapchat Ads ourselves both for eCommerce and startup launches and the performance has been better than we expected, especially for one of our previous businesses where by we nearly didn't test it out as we assumed (wrongly) that the audience on Snapchat would not be a fit for us.
Unlike some ad platforms, Snapchat is really beginner-friendly. You can set up a campaign in minutes, use their templates and get access to powerful tools like:
Many of the campaigns we've seen work on platforms like Instagram and TikTok have also worked well on Snapchat however one caveat to this is that you will need to adapt the creative, the basics of what may have worked on other social media platforms should in theory work on this platform but you will need to adapt it to be inline with how Snapchat and its users interact and use the app, there are plenty of guides around for this, one great video to watch is this video by Andrew Ethan Zeng where he guides you through a step by step to running ads on Snapchat for beginners.
If you jump onto Snapchat you'll likely start to see some ads whilst you're using it, this of course will be tailored to you but you'll get an idea of the type of business that are running campaigns on it. In general a lot of Ecommerce based businesses use it especially those that have a great creative team, a product that catches eyes or fits nicely with the audience who use the platform. Snap also have a nice success stories section on their website where you can read real case studies from companies who have used the platform and got great results which is worth a quick read, especially if you can spot a company like yours in there.
Another popular type of company running successful campaigns are mobile apps, think everything from games, shopping apps, dating etc, these work well as the platform works well for those looking to drive app installs, this works especially well with their swipeable stories feature.
Others that are popular include local businesses, startups, larger businesses who like to spread spend across many platforms especially those looking for brand awareness.
Overall, if your customers are under 40, chances are they’re already on Snapchat so you just need to meet them where they are.
If you’re looking to reach a new audience, test quickly, and grow without blowing the budget, Snapchat Ads are seriously worth a look. It’s one of the most underrated growth channels out there and with the current credit offer, it might just be the best value campaign you run this year but as with every platform their are some caveats.
You need to make sure your audience is on their, if you're running a business aimed at people who are retired then it's highly likely Snap will be the wrong platform to run on, if on the other hand you're running a fashion brand aimed at those who are in their early twenties then you should be jumping on this platform like it was yesterday.
My theory is that you should always test out platforms, you never know where you audience exactly is and there is no harm in trying them out, even if you simply create a free account and post content to see how interactions go, all it costs is a little time and you may be surprised to find your audience is actually on their waiting to interact with you.
Although this is a common conception, it actually is a bit of a misconception nowadays, the spread of age has increased over the years, Snapchat for business have a guide which goes into detail but overall it shows that the age ranges from 16-24 as their core demographic, so certainly creeping into those with spending power.
As with any ad platform it will take some time and learning to set it up but they make it easy with the Snapchat Ads Manager, so as long as you have an idea of using tools (which we assume as a founder you will!) then you should have no problem setting up ads, managing budgets, optimizing and so on.
A simple answer no, the set free credit criteria listed at the top of this page mean you'll need to hit those spending levels to get the free credit, this is either $75 or $350.
Yes and no, essentially they do but often they are time senstivie, for example we work closely with TikTok to give you offers for signing up to their platform and running adverts and campaigns, we've had offers such as up to $1,000 of credit but these come and go.
